In the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour at Valencia this weekend, Swedish outfit MA:GP will run a Lynk & Co 03 for the 21-year-old Viktor Andersson, who is currently competing in TCR Europe but has made occasional and successful appearances in several other TCR championships, including TCR Eastern Europe and TCR UK.
Andersson is effectively making his fourth appearance in the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour after racing at Portimão, Spa and Hungaroring in the 2023 inaugural season.
“I’m really looking forward to it. The circuit we have been at before in TCR Europe, I was third there in qualifying last year, so I like the track. We’ll see how competitive we can be, as the field is super-good. There are many great drivers and strong teams, so it will be a challenge, but I’m really looking forward to trying it out,” Andersson said.
