The JSB Compétition Hyundai of Julian Briché has been excluded from qualifying after failing scrutineering, with the Frenchman’s Elantra found to be running below the minimum ride height of 80mm.
Briché has therefore lost all his lap times from qualifying and will be forced to start from the back of the grid in Race 1, alongside his teammate Raphäel Fournier, who had a technical issue in the session.
Briché had originally qualified in eighth and would potentially have started from third on the grid for the reversed grid Race 2.
With Briché excluded, all drivers move up one place behind him, with a key change for the reversed grid, with Jenson Brickley promoted to tenth and inheriting pole for Race 2 from Gabriele Covini who still has a chance to reclaim pole position for Race 2 back should he set the fastest lap in Race 1 under the new rules for 2026.
