WWR, promoter of the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour, has issued a clarification on the participation of TCR México competitors in the event at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
Mexican teams have been granted authorisation to enter more than one driver per car, just like it is allowed by TCR México Sporting Regulations, and they have been also given the option to be considered competitors and point scorers of either the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour or TCR México.
Three of them decided to compete for the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour: Julio and Rodrigo Rejón in the ProRally Mothers-run CUPRA Leon VZ cars #1 and #55, plus former WTCC racer Michel Jourdain jr. in the #18 Leon VZ entered by Peralta Racing Team.
All the other competitors will race for TCR México only.
