Mikel Azcona: “Honestly, this morning I was very worried and I strongly preferred a dry track, but after having ran the second practice in the wet, I would say that now I don’t care. The track is very technical, it drains well, but it might be very tricky in wet conditions. I still would prefer a dry qualifying because from what we have seen today, I can have a gap ahead of our competitors, while they are definitely closer in the wet.”
Ma Qing Hua: “I feel confident, because I know I can be competitive in both dry and wet conditions. This is a good circuit and is quite fun to drive in the wet. The practice proved that our car has a quick pace, no matter how the surface is. Of course, it will depend on the team’s strategy that will be decided only when we see how the weather will be for qualifying tomorrow. But all in all, I can say that we are quite happy with what we have done today.”
