TCR South America regular Enzo Gianfratti will join the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour for the next race meeting at Valencia’s Circuit Ricardo Tormo, driving a CUPRA Leon VZ run by Monlau Motorsport under the banner DSOEM Motorsport.
Gianfratti entered TCR South America last year, starting with a Honda Civic FK7 and then switching to a CUPRA Leon Competición that was later upgraded to VZ specifications; he eventually was classified tenth in the drivers’ championship and fourth in TCR Brasil.
In the current season, he’s still driving a CUPRA VZ run by his own team G Racing Motorsport; he ranks sixth in TCR South America and fourth in TCR Brasil, with two third places in Cascavel and Interlagos.
“In Valencia I will make my debut in the TCR World Tour, racing a CUPRA Leon VZ for Monlau Motorsport. I’m very happy and I thank my family and my sponsors for backing me in this new challenge for my career,” he said.
