Monlau Motorsport will make its debut in the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour, running a CUPRA Leon VZ for the 18-year-old Eric Gené in the upcoming weekend at Valencia.
The young Spaniard will make his FIA touring car maiden appearance twenty years after his father Jordi raced in the first FIA World Touring Car Championship with the related SEAT brand.
“It’s a great opportunity to take part in the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour event in my own Country," Gené declared. "I know it will be one of the best experiences in my racing career. CUPRA, Monlau Motorsport and my family have done a really good job to make this possible – so I’m very grateful.”
