TCR Australia champion team HMO Customer Racing will run three cars in next week’s event of the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour at The Bend.
Hong Kong driver Lo Sze Ho will make his debut at the wheel of a Hyundai i30 N driven in TCR Australia by Tom Oliphant and Josh Buchan in 2024.
The event will be Lo’s fourth appearance in the TCR World Tour, following those in Macau’s Guia Race in 2023 and 2024, and at Zhuzhou last year; the Hong Konger had won the TCR Asia Challenge at Macau in 2023 for his own team, Evolve Racing.
Lo will join Josh Buchan and Ryan MacMillan who will be racing in HMO’s Elantra N cars.
“It will be a remarkable experience for me to race in Australia for HMO Customer Racing. I have been watching TCR Australia, and the competitive racing and professionalism of the Australian teams is world standard. I am very proud to be racing with the team which has been the champion TCR Australia for the past two years. I am excited to get this chance at Tailem Bend and in the TCR World Tour,” Lo said.
