Ruben Volt was pleased with his pace after the first two practice sessions, with the 20-year-old Estonian the closest threat to the leading Hyundai cars of BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse in the two sessions.
Volt was the leading ETS Guest Star Trophy driver in both sessions at the wheel of his ALM Motorsport-run Honda, just over a tenth of a second down on Norbert Michelisz in Free Practice 2, and just thousandths from Mikel Azcona in the first session i.
“It’s been a very good day,” said Volt. “There’s still some bits and bobs to do ahead of tomorrow’s qualifying, but overall I’m happy. Now let’s see what the Hyundai and Geely cars will do, because they certainly haven’t shown their full potential yet.”
