Jimmy Clairet was fastest of all in the second and final free practice session at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, leading his ALM Motorsport teammates Sten-Dorian Piirimägi and Jenson Brickley, with Santiago Urrutia the closest rival of the Honda drivers.

Clairet was the only driver to go under the 1m 19s barrier in the session, setting a time of 1:18.956 in the final moments to pip his Estonian teammate Piirimägi, who ended up fastest of the TCR Spain drivers.

Brickley finished third, while Urrutia made a late improvement to put his Geely Preface fourth in the timesheets, dropping the best-placed CUPRA of Aurélien Comte to fifth.

The next group was made up of the Geely Cyan Racing and BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse drivers Thed Björk, Mikel Azcona, Yann Ehrlacher, and Norbert Michelisz, with FP1 pacesetter Viktor Andersson rounding out the top ten.

The next session is qualifying, which gets underway at 10:45 CEST tomorrow morning.
