Jordan Cox and Garry Rogers Motorsport will join the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour field at The Bend.
Cox who has been one of the stars of TCR action in Australia since the category’s inception in 2019, sitting second on the all-time stats list for both starts and race wins – of which he has nine, will be driving a Peugeot 308 P51, the latest generation in the TCR offering from the French brand that was designed and built in-house by GRM as the official supplier of the P51.
This will be the first appearance in the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour of the model that made its debut last year 2024 and was driven to victory by Cox twice.
“I’m absolutely excited, I haven’t been able to race TCR this year, but I still love it and have definitely missed it,” said Cox. “I’m up for the challenge and it will be awesome to represent the team and my sponsors in the weekend. We’ll be on the world stage for TCR which is super cool, but I’m really not concerned about the spotlight, it’s just about focusing on doing the best job possible for the team in what’s going to be a super competitive field filled with the world’s best.”
