“That was so satisfying. I was really hoping for the victory after a tricky start to the year. Yesterday we were not on the pace with our rivals, but we have been working so much on the set up. I knew that with the 30kgs of Compensation Weight it was going to be tough to defend against Borković because he had no extra weight and yesterday the Honda cars were very fast. I knew I had to push hard on the first laps and build a gap, then I could defend my position... But I was pushing the whole race! I’m so happy for the victory.”

“Firstly, thanks to Thed for letting me pass on the last lap. Yes, of course there are some internal team orders going on, but we had an amazing pace. And I’m just trying to survive with the 30kgs of CW. It’s not easy with the elevation changes of this circuit. I was very lucky to have my teammates supporting me because I would have been nowhere without them.”
Thed Björk, 3rd
“I have great pace this weekend, but that was still a hard race with the reversed grid. We had to fight hard, and the Honda guys did not make it easy. We kept pushing, and when the safety car came out, I was happy. The only car I looked to was Mikel’s, I didn't see anyone else’s. But he did such a good job at the restart. I’m happy with my teammates, we are doing a good job together.”

“It was a tough race, as I was right in the thick of the battles. It felt like a recovery race for me especially after some contact early on. The last laps were very difficult, as I felt something had broken in the car. I started having a lot of vibrations. But I'm super happy. It was such a fun race.”
