Aurélien Comte, 1st
“That was an amazing race. I got a really good start, which gave me the platform for the whole stint. I knew I had a less compensation weight than Thed, but even so the car felt solid all the way through. I was a little worried about some drop-off, but we managed the tyres perfectly. I’m just so happy for myself, but especially for the team. They’ve worked unbelievably hard to get us here, and to turn that effort into a win feels incredible.”
Thed Björk, 2nd
“I had a good start, but Aurélien’s launch was lightning quick and after that there was really no way to catch him. I was just hoping maybe he’d have some tyre drop-off or make a mistake so I could close in, but he drove brilliantly. Full credit to him. I’m really happy with the result though that gave me more valuable points for the championship. And of course, I’m extremely proud of everyone at Lynk & Co Cyan Racing for taking the Teams’ title today. It’s a fantastic moment for all of us.”
Norbert Michelisz, 3rd
“It feels great to be back on the podium, especially after what was such a tricky weekend in South Korea. Yesterday was tough. in both Practices I felt like I had nothing to give, and honestly, I didn’t drive well either. So, we had a lot of work to do. The team worked incredibly hard overnight, we made a big step, and this podium is the reward for that. I’m very grateful to them, it’s a good boost heading into the final round.”
Benny Santoso, 1st TCR Asia
“I had a really good race today. It’s always fun to mix it up with the TCR World Tour guys. Their level is so high, and you learn a lot each time. I really enjoyed racing here at the Hunan International Circuit and to come away as the best TCR Asia driver feels great.”
Fredrik Vahlén, Team Manager Lynk & Co Cyan Racing
“I’m absolutely delighted! To win the Teams’ title for a third consecutive year is just incredible. Every single person in this team has worked so hard and so consistently all season. Honestly, at the start of the year, with how close the competition is now, I wasn’t sure we would be able to do it again. But the drivers, engineers, mechanics, everyone pulled together. And to lift the trophy here in China, where the Lynk & Co story began, makes it even more special. We’re going to enjoy these celebrations!”
