Yann Ehrlacher: “It went pretty well! I had a good start, gained a position and then had a really good fight with Marco. It was hard racing and at some point I was next to him, a wall was coming so I had to brake in a straight but there was no place for my car and I was side-by-side so a bit dangerous. Thanks to Thed who helped me. He had the speed and the team told me to let him go because he could have the pace for the win. I could benefit from it, but I got a big hit from Marco, but it’s touring car racing and I’m not blaming him, but they can’t blame us for the second one either.”
Ma Qing Hua: “I did a really good start to overtake a few cars, then my pace was really strong and I tried to manage the tyres and look after them in the chaos ahead. I made a few nice moves and managed to overtake. For the team, the best result we can achieve.”
Thed Björk: “It felt fantastic, probably one of the best races I’ve ever done in touring cars, fighting all the way up from P8 and leading for a while. Such a good race and it felt great, that’s all I need to say.”
