Santiago Urrutia, 1st: “It feels good. It’s hard sometimes to be far from your home, being alone at a race weekend and not have a good weekend, and to have my dad here this weekend and end up winning all three races it’s amazing. It’s very good for the championship and very good for Geely as well. To win three races you need to have a bit of luck, and I had that this weekend. I was very under pressure in Race 3 as I needed to do a good start, and I had a good start, everything worked out really well.”
Thed Björk, 2nd: “There were a few struggles with the new car, but we were more successful than we thought. The problems could have happened to any of us, but they didn’t happen for Santi, or me. It also happened to Hyundai, as they would have won the first race. So, the stars were with us this time. There’s a lot of things to do though, we have to improve some stuff.”
Mikel Azcona 3rd: “I feel very happy to finish on the podium. It’s what was needed for me after a very unlucky puncture in the first race while I was leading. At the start I overtook both CUPRA cars at the first corner, but then at a certain point in the middle of the race Comte was pushing quite hard. He was attacking for a few laps but then I think he killed his front tyres, and then I was able to pull a gap. Thanks to Norbi at the end for letting me go past him, I’m very happy to with this team where we work as a team very well.”
