This weekend’s event at the Inje Speedium will also mark the opening of the season for the TCR Asia championship that like last year will be part of the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour's grid also in the following race meetings in China and Macau.
The list of TCR Asia competitors is led by Diego Moran from Ecuador who will be driving a Honda Civic FL 5 under the banner of ATE Racing by DM23. Moran, who also took part in the Asian events of the 2025 TCR World Tour, has started the current season in TCR China, claiming an outstanding second place in the opening event at Shanghai.
The TCR Asia field comprises Korean drivers Jeongmin An and Yul Lee, both racing Hyundai Elantra N cars for the Seoul-based Russell Motorsport, and three drivers from the Chinese CTCC Cup.
