TCR Spain will join the grid on Valencia's short circuit

The Kumho FIA TCR World Tour and TCR Spain will race together for the first time on the occasion of their next race meeting at Valencia's Circuit Ricardo Tormo.

For this event, only Race 1 and Race 2 will award points towards the TCR Spain championship; participation of TCR Spain competitors to Race 3 will be at their own discretion.

Another first will be the use of the circuit's short layout of 3136m instead of the GP circuit of 4005m that was used by both series last year when they raced separately; this switch will make it possible for the infield to host drifting exhibitions in between the races.
