Daniel Teixeira, Enzo Gianfratti and Stian Paulsen are the last-minute entries that complete the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour field for this weekend’s event in Vila Real.
Just like last year, Teixeira joins for his home event at the wheel of the Hyundai Elantra N run by JT59 Racing Team he uses to race in the Portuguese Circuit Championship.
Gianfratti who will be fighting next week for the TCR Brasil title in Velocitta, returns to the global series after his maiden appearance in Valencia where he had driven a CUPRA Leon VZ for Monlau Motorsport. In Vila Real the Brazilian will also run in a CUPRA but for SP Compétition.
Norwegian driver Paulsen who has grown extensive experience in TCR competition, had made a comeback earlier this season taking part in the TCR Europe event at Spa-Francorchamps with an Audi RS 3 LMS entered by his own team. Paulsen has joined Vannin Motorsport to drive one of the British team’s two Audi cars in Portugal.
