JSB Compétition will make its maiden appearance in the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour this weekend at Valencia.
The French team has entered two Hyundai Elantra N cars for TCR Europe front-runner and team owner Julien Briché who will be joined by Raphaël Fournier.
The 18-year-old Fournier is making an impressive TCR debut season in the FFSA TC France series; in the two events held so far, he has won four races from eight, taking the lead in the standings.
"We are watching at next week's event as an opportunity to gain experience with the car. Valencia is a circuit we like, so I'm happy to race there with Raphaël who is in his first year of TCR. This will help him to get a lot of experience,” Briché explained. “We are happy to be going, and Hyundai is supporting us, helping with setups. We'll do our best, and I hope we can pull off a little surprise.”
